Congratulations to Corey and Alison on their engagement! Lana & I had a great outing to capture some “Save The Date” portraits for them a few weeks ago. Alison and Corey met at Northeastern University in Boston, Ma. Alison had her heart set on Engagement photos at the university, so we headed into Boston for an afternoon shoot.

The weather in Boston was threatening, Corey is a true techie like me, and we were both monitoring the radar maps. The rain held off and we had great weather for pictures. It was winter break at Northeastern University, so we had the campus practically to ourselves!

We love Engagement sessions because it gives us a chance to meet people and connect on a more personal level. We met Corey and Alison through a referral from our friends Lori and John. Referrals just warm our hearts, there is no greater vote of confidence than a referral! Nevertheless, we were happy to finally meet this cheerful couple in person!

Walking through Ruggles train station, we captured some really great shots with the station lighting in the background. Corey and Alison were pro’s after five minutes! We walked through Northeastern University campus, pausing at their favorite spots for some quick photos. We’ll be posting the full gallery soon with plenty of remarkable pictures! We can’t wait for their wedding later this year, it is always a pleasure to work with such great clients! Their positive attitude and appreciation for photographs made our day too!
