We recently photographed Mia and Jared’s Wedding at an incredible Seacoast venue – The Oceanview of Nahant. This venue deserves a separate post and acknowledgement, but today I wanted to highlight an incredible live band the Groove Authority. I have photographed hundreds of weddings and have seen plenty of live bands.  These folks are a step above most other bands for sure! 

This Band took my breath away! They played hits from every decade and kept the wedding crowd dancing on the floor all night long! Top 40, new and old R&B, Rock, Motown, Funk, Soul, Disco, as well as Pop, Swing, Jazz, Reggae and Hip-Hop. If you are looking for a band that’s fun, entertaining and versatile at an affordable price, Groove Authority may be the band for your event!

The lead vocalists are just so talented.  Julie and Joe have incredible voices! They both can cover any type of songs any notes!  It was such a pleasure to meet Paul – the band director – he is clearly the driving force behind the Groove Authority.  Another cool advantage is they will professionally MC your event, so there is no need to worry about the flow of your reception.
