Congratulations to Jess and Mike who tied the knot last weekend. They selected to have a Lombardo’s Wedding, which is simply an amazing venue located in Randolph, Massachusetts. We’ll get to the venue specifics in a bit!

The Newlyweds

Mike and Jess are a fun-loving couple that have a great group of family and friends in their lives. Tommy and Jill, their Best Man and Maid of Honor, delivered two great toasts that seemed like they were written together!
The couple wisely chose a First Look! The absolute best location for a First Look at Lombardo’s is on the staircase below the massive, beautiful chandelier hanging at the venue. There are no rules for First Looks, they can be private or include other friends and family. In their case, the bridal party and family members were watching from the first floor. This was a nice balance of close, but not too close!
One of the personal touches from the reception was the favors. Jess made infused olive oil for all the guests with herbs and lemon! I’m a cooking fan, so I remembered that Jess!

The Venue

This was not our first time shooting a wedding at Lombardo’s, so we are familiar with all the great areas for photo opportunities! Our goal is to strike a nice balance of photos that captures the whole day. When people ask us about our photography style we usually say “All of them!”. We have some great candid shots from the reception, formals of the bridal party and family and finally some spiced up portraits!
We like to work in aspects of the venue, such as the amazing chandelier, the groomsman at the upstairs bar, and a night shot outside with the venue in the background.
